UPDATE: This post was made as Shinn Shots Photography and does not represent the style or goals of Blue Space Photography. Because I believe in knowing where you’ve come from, I’ve left this here as a reminder of the journey that led me to where I am today. I now only shoot storytelling sessions, so be sure to check out my current work in more recent posts! – Lauren
That’s right…it’s the time of year for holiday mini-sessions! While mini-sessions are a very productive way to accomplish holiday photos, I’ll admit that they’ve never been my favorite type of session. I always end up wanting to spend more time with my clients!
You may remember Shelley’s boys from last year. I was a little nervous about squeezing all the pictures we needed into a mini-session since last year the boys kept me busy running. (In fairness, we did take two young boys to the train museum for pictures!) Looking back at those pictures, I can’t believe how much they’ve grown up.
This year Shelley brought her sister, Shannon, along for her own mini-session. We made sure the timing overlapped so that we could get plenty of pictures with the cousins together. (Amazingly, I didn’t have to do a single head swap for any of these pictures!)
All of the kids seemed to have a good time and we grown ups got to have some fun too!
I got to capture some wonderfully sweet moments too.
Towards the end we decided to let the kids get some energy out. I really love the running shots – they are so genuine! Thanks for spending your morning with me, Shelley and Shannon. Can’t wait until next year!
